10,001 BURR = 1 bear. BURR is a DN404 token, so they're the same asset in two forms. Cross a whole 10,001 BURR and a bear comes to your wallet. Drop below it and a bear goes back to the burn pool.
If you drop below the BURR your bears need, your most recent awake bear goes into the burn pool. You can't pick which one, so hibernate the bears you want to keep first.
Hibernate them in the Den. A hibernating bear never goes to the burn pool, and the BURR backing it stays put until it wakes.

A bear comes with each whole 10,001 BURR, from the burn pool. If the pool was empty, you can turn your BURR into a bear from the Den once it has bears again. Smart accounts (like a Safe) start with bears turned off; the site shows a button to turn them on.
Chill itself is a score and adds up on its own. The Red Berries your hibernating bears earn are claimed in the Den, with no gas and no signature.
Your bear wakes up right away and keeps the Red Berries it already earned. It stops earning, and its clock starts over at 1.0x the next time it hibernates.
Yes. Each bear is tracked individually. Hibernate as many or as few as you like.
No. Bears earn Red Berries from day one at 1.0x. The first boost, "Napping" (1.2x), starts at 14 days.
Yes. On Ethereum a hibernating bear stays in your own wallet, so OpenSea and holder checks still see it. It can't be sold or moved until it wakes.
